Daily Activities
Expressive Arts
Children will be offered lots of creative and messy play opportunities, so as to develop their confidence, creativity, imagination, social skills, coordination, motor skills, decision making and thinking skills.
Language Arts
Children will have the opportunity to engage in storytelling, shared reading sessions and also given the time for independent reading by looking at pictures and interacting with different books.
Children will also be engaged in singing to encourage language and memorisation.
Imaginative/Dramatic play
Allows children to express themselves and use creativity. It also introduces symbolic thinking and encourages cooperation among children.
Block Play
Children playing with blocks will be practicing a wide variety of developmental skills, including manipulating objects, creating structures, and working together.
Messy/Sensory play
We aim to provide the children with exciting tactile and sensory experiences that inspires their curiosity. Such experiences will allow them to explore the world around them and enhance their learning, language and creativity.
Gardening
The children will have the opportunity to experience the wonders of gardening and gain a better understanding of the world around them – where they can watch a mere seed change into a flourishing flower.
Outdoor Play
Children will be given the opportunity to explore a range of exciting active play activities and outdoor games to enhance their fine and gross motor skills and social development.
Cooking
We aim to help children develop a positive connection to all different types of foods including fruit and vegetables, which are the foundation for good nutrition. Also, children will be exposed to many essential skills such as following instructions, counting and measuring.
